英國政府計畫給餵母乳的婦女兩百英鎊，大約九千塊台幣的超市禮券。反對的人說，這是變相賄賂。

為了鼓勵婦女以母乳哺育下一代，英國政府提出，只要不完全依賴配方奶粉哺育嬰兒，就可以得到幾家大型超市，面額兩百英鎊的禮券。他們將先在約克夏和達比夏選出一百三十位新生母親試辦。

反對的人嫌英國政府管得太多。而這項計畫也等於在無法餵母乳的婦女的傷口上撒鹽。
