小貓當球踼 港男判囚16個月

香港兩名男子將一隻流浪貓踢至重傷吐血，早前被裁定殘酷對待動物罪，今日在觀塘裁判法院被判即時監禁十六個月。

裁判官判刑時表示，被告為玩樂而殘酷對待對社會無滋擾及危害的貓隻，期間有人嬉笑，漠視小貓的痛苦，被告沒有惻隱之心，貓隻的痛苦要持續至被人道毀滅才結束，非筆墨可以形容。

裁判官又表示，法庭不會因為受害的是貓隻而忽視案件嚴重性，對有關行為感到厭惡及不恥，法庭不會姑息殘酷及不道德的行為，故需判以嚴厲及具阻嚇的刑罰。

至於案中另一名同樣被定罪的十八歲女被告，押後至本月十六日判刑，等候戒毒所、感化官及社會服務令報告。
