IBAF少棒／墨西哥Garcia又開轟！　想加入洋基隊

墨西哥背號5號的Kevin Garcia又開轟！幫助墨西哥以13比0擊敗捷克，搶下第3勝。

賽前Garcia已經有3支全壘打演出，是本屆賽會目前為止的全壘打王，因此捷克決定敬遠四壞保送，「投手不讓我打，很生氣。」

Garcia這場比賽獲得2保送，不過，5局上，Garcia還是把球撈到全壘打牆外，個人第4轟出爐。

截至24日為止，Garcia敲出11支安打、打擊率8成46、9打點，他說：「小時候很調皮，所以爸爸想讓我找個正當運動。」

Garcia後來選擇棒球是因為身邊不少家人都在從事這項運動，加上自己對棒球的喜愛，所以從4歲就開始打棒球直到現在。

Garcia在代表隊擔任投手以及一壘手，在國內則是游擊手、一壘手，他說：「國內比賽安打比較多，這次來比賽其他人也沒有給我太多壓力。」

對於目前暫居全壘打王，Garcia很滿意自己的表現，「集訓時的成果有發揮出來。」

喜愛棒球的Garcia沒有特別喜歡的球員，甚至不常看棒球轉播，不過，他說將繼續在棒球路上努力，希望未來有機會加盟紐約洋基。
