近段時間以來，「美國製造業回流，大陸製造喪失競爭力」的說法引發關注。多位資深華爾街金融人士在於杭州舉行的《華爾街傳奇》國際高端系列論壇上表示，大陸製造優勢仍在，「世界工廠」地位不會被取代。

近段時間以來，『美國製造業回流，大陸製造喪失競爭力』的說法引發關注。多位資深華爾街金融人士在於杭州舉行的《華爾街傳奇》國際高端系列論壇上表示，大陸製造優勢仍在，『世界工廠』地位不會被取代。
根據新華網報導，與10年前相比，大陸勞動力成本低廉的優勢明顯弱化，部分製造業正在向東南亞轉移，加上發達國家『再工業化』進程加速，『大陸製造』是否還有優勢？
全球十大公關公司之一——安可顧問有限公司大中華區主席季瑞達認為，大概只有3％、4％在大陸的美國企業會搬回美國，大陸有很多的優勢，工作人群非常大，整個供應鏈非常好，很多美國公司會繼續在大陸運營生產。
對於季瑞達所說的大陸人口紅利還在，ENTEXT經濟策略研究所首席執行官肖恩·馬希爾認為，大陸人口紅利在過去20年當中起到了很大的作用，所以也就是說這個勞工大軍是足夠的。
盡管『大陸製造』優勢仍在，但是不得不承認，大陸產品面臨的挑戰遠大於從前。美國一家諮詢公司的調查顯示，三分之一的美國消費者對大陸製造的產品信心不足。
曾在麥肯錫諮詢公司任職超過17年的麥克·謝爾曼說，美國消費者對『大陸製造』信心不足不是因為大陸品牌推廣不夠，關鍵還是質量。
