【葉國吏／綜合報導】你知道嗎，其實《聖經》所記載的挪亞方舟，很有可能不是一艘巨船。

今日出刊的香港《蘋果日報》報導，大英博物館有位專家，透過翻譯有3,700年歷史的楔形文泥版，認為挪亞方舟外形並非傳統船，而是一隻圓舟。專家表示，該泥板詳細描述美索不達米亞版的挪亞方舟故事，並說明建造那艘避洪水圓舟的方法。

當中提到神向蘇美爾王Atram-Hasis提出忠告，要他建一艘圓舟拯救生命。船的直徑是67公尺（220呎），高6公尺（20呎），分兩層，並分開多個部份以分隔各種動物。船用繩和蘆葦造，再塗上瀝青防水。
