莿桐警所香蕉田設巡邏箱防宵小　保護農產品

今年因天候關係，全台香蕉產量少，貨源不足價格提高，當香蕉農辛苦一整年準備採收前，一但遭竊，往往造成蕉農嚴重的損失。為預防香蕉失竊，斗六警分局莿桐分駐所特別規劃「香蕉園巡邏箱」，由員警日夜巡守，維護香蕉農辛苦成果，不讓宵小光顧。

莿桐分駐所所長蘇家亮，依地方特性規劃「防制香蕉失竊巡邏專線」，於轄區內香蕉園設置巡邏箱，每日不定時巡邏保護香蕉農們的辛苦成果，全力遏止香蕉園竊案的發生。

斗六警分局長鄭順乾表示，為防制民生竊案發生，農民可針對各項季節性農產品提出申請防竊巡邏，警方會依產銷季節、價格等執行巡防勤務，以遏止農產品竊案的發生，守護農民辛勞一整年的成果。
