銀行對於聯準會升息對其帶來的衝擊，總是避口不語，但很快的，監管者及投資人將能夠略知一二。

今年首次，聯準會要求銀行提供年中的壓力測試，觀察其在負面經濟前景下的表現。

該份報告將在7月5日呈交，與年初測試不同的是，聯準會不會對銀行施行自己的報告，或公開評論自己的結果。

不過，銀行必須在9月底時公開結果。

銀行家表示，最近美國貨幣堅理局（OCC）質疑銀行面對利率上揚的風險。

該局認為，銀行將首當其衝。然而升息也有些好處，銀行能夠從貸款中收到更多費用。
