Pope Gives Argentinean Priest Ride Around St. Peter's Square

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】天主教教宗方濟各(Pope Francis)昨天(8日)乘坐專車，在梵蒂岡聖伯多祿廣場(St. Peter's Square)與信眾見面，期間教宗在茫茫人海中聽到神父老友貝茲(Reverend Fabien Baez)呼喊他的名字，邀請他一同坐上「聖駕」遊城，毫無架子。

貝茲與教宗早在90年代認識，當時貝茲在教宗家鄉阿根廷布宜諾斯艾利斯的教區工作，教宗當時任職該區大主教。雖然與教宗是老朋友，但貝茲到訪梵蒂岡時並沒有特權，不能靠近車道與信眾會談的地點。在圍欄及重重人群阻隔下，貝茲趁專車駛近時大叫「Santo Padre」，77歲的教宗竟能在數千信眾之中，聽到老友呼喚，馬上叫司機停車，並邀請貝茲上車。

二人馬上來一個親切擁抱，貝茲對教宗的邀請感到又驚又喜，他事後接受媒體訪問時仍難掩興奮之情，高呼「我的天啊」！貝茲表示，近距離看到老友與信眾打招呼、親吻嬰兒，非常感動。

在圍欄阻隔下，貝茲趁專車駛近時大叫「Santo Padre」，教宗在幾千人之中，竟然聽到老友呼喚，馬上叫司機停車，並叫老友上車。翻攝自《每日郵報》
