稻草再利用 覆蓋營建工地減少風飛砂

東北季風吹襲河床和營建工地，揚起陣陣風飛砂，導致雲嘉南地區空氣品質不佳，影響民眾生活與健康。適逢二期稻作收割期，環保單位近來積極推動營建工地舖設稻草措施，並在雲嘉南成立「稻草再利用平台」，除了可以減少營建工地裸露地揚塵，還能避免露天燃燒稻草，一舉數得。

冬季空氣品質不佳，常肇因於風飛砂導致的懸浮微粒濃度過高，除了裸露河床外，大面積營建工地在強風吹拂下激起的揚塵，也是造成空氣污染的主因。由於工地難以植生綠化，因此最好的方式就是舖設稻草，用以減少揚塵。

嘉義市環保局今天在湖子內區段徵收工地示範稻草舖設措施，覆蓋面積達三千平方公尺，防止揚塵效果相當不錯，因而建議營建業者可利用「雲嘉南稻草再利用平台」，就近尋找當地稻草進行覆蓋，不僅能減少風飛砂，也能減少露天燃燒稻草，雙管齊下提升空氣品質。
