​微笑老蕭大談TPP重要性　自嘲話太多

【陳培煌╱台北報導】社團法人對外關係協會今成立，由前外交部長歐鴻鍊擔任會長，前副總統蕭萬長任名譽會長，包括副總統吳敦義、外交部長林永樂與前國安會秘書長胡為真、前監察院長錢復等人出席。「微笑老蕭」蕭萬長致詞時談到台灣加入「跨太平洋夥伴協議」（TPP）的重要性，他一講就講了20多分鐘，老蕭還自嘲自己話太多，「但名譽會長的好處，就是可以這樣不負責任。」

蕭萬長語重心長的表示，他昨天看報紙發現南韓也準備加入TPP，「我心裡更急」，因為韓國與美國簽署FTA（自由貿易簽署）之後，我對美出口「已經輸了」，韓美兩國出口成長20％，我與南韓對美的關稅減免上已經看的出競爭消長。蕭強調，TPP是很重要的議題，若大家不重視，當2015年TPP成員國達成零關稅目標時，台灣的經濟會陷入比現在更困難的局面，屆時「我們真的是後悔都會來不及。」
