日醫師將紗布遺留病人體內 次日取出

日本「相模原中央醫院」日前為一名39歲的女子做腹部手術，醫師將一條長4.4公分、寬2.9公分的紗布遺忘在患者體內，第二天才再次接受手術取出。這名女子已經對主刀醫師提出告訴。

日本《朝日新聞》報導，這名女子因為「急性闌尾炎」住院。因病情惡化有併發腹膜炎的可能，一名女性醫師為她進行剖腹手術，切除闌尾和清除膿液。

第二天患者在接受X射線檢查時，醫師發現，腹部有紗布狀的陰影。醫院趕緊安排患者再開一次刀，將紗布取出。醫院表示，這條手術中使用的紗布被折疊為4層，厚度約有0.3公分。

醫院承認失誤，並對這名女性患者致歉。但是女子表示，她不認為醫院的致歉是真誠的，直到現在她還因為手術的影響無法安眠。
