腦中風等患者接受中期照護　死亡率明顯下降

【蔡明樺／台北報導】台北榮總今舉辦「2013中期照護國際研討會」，台北榮總高齡醫學中心主任陳亮恭於會議中表示，該院2009年至2012年共篩選688名以腦中風、骨折為主的高齡患者，其中96名患者轉介至榮民醫院體系接受中期照護，追蹤病患病情發現，接受中期照護1年後患者死亡率明顯下降62％，且原本不良於行的患者在接受中期照護後，多可藉拐杖等輔具自行移動。

陳亮恭強調，中期照護系統是希望患者接受照護後，能回復正常生活，目前只要是台北市市民或榮民身分，符合中期照護資格，且順利從台北榮總轉介至台北市立聯合醫院陽明院區者，即由台北市衛生局或行政院退輔會負擔14天中期照護費用，以減輕病患家屬負擔。
