菲駐台辦事處謝台援助 籲更多協助

【陳培煌╱台北報導】菲律賓駐台辦事處（MECO）今晨發布聲明指出，菲律賓人民和菲國政府代表向台灣政府、人民及所有公共和非營利國際機構的成員主動提供協助表達最誠摯的感謝，而目前仍有許多需要等待協助，包括救助金或現成的食物，水，帳篷，毛毯，口罩，發電機和其他物資等可聯繫或送達MECO。

聲明稿提及，台灣政府率先捐贈菲國20萬美元，並決定以多次C-130型運輸機的航班即時運送災民迫切需要的物資和醫療服務隊，並跟公私機構積極協調贊助事宜，參與的公益團體包括佛教慈濟基金會，佛光山，靈鷲山佛教教團，法鼓山與紅十字會等。
