烏金年產值破億　「烏魚節」吸引遊客

「烏魚節」2日在竹北市拔仔窟烏魚養殖場熱鬧展開，漁民們提供近8千尾新鮮活跳跳的烏魚，供全國遊客選購，一尾平均重約3-3.5斤的烏魚（取卵後）150元，由於經濟實惠、物美價廉，吸引全國遊客到海邊遊玩兼採買。

縣政府農業處表示，位於拔仔窟烏魚養殖場約有66公頃，其中有30多公頃利用來養殖烏魚，業者有30多戶，今年捕獲量超過10萬尾，將以10天的時間來採收。由於每一條烏魚皆要經過漁民3年細心的照顧，方能成長捕撈取卵，做為烏魚子加工，所以烏魚的品質非常重要，在農委會水產試驗所、縣府農業局、新竹區漁會等單位共同合作下，邀請臺灣大學與海洋大學教授技術指導下，研發培育全雌養殖，獲得重大突破，尤其是烏魚子，參加全國烏魚子比賽，連續三年（98年~、100年）入選台灣十大優質烏魚子、獲得金鑽烏魚子名號。

另外的30多公頃，漁民則利用來養殖文蛤、草蝦、虱目魚、石斑等，這些海產類搭烏魚節的順風車，賣相與賣價都不錯，讓漁民與遊客都很滿意。

活動並安排有歌手劉小凱演唱、魔術師何大衛互動，1000份烏魚米粉吸引遊客大排長龍等候品嚐；現場也安排了互動闖關遊戲及高級自行車、烏魚伴手禮摸彩，好吃好玩讓遊客盡興而歸。
