吸毒醜聞 多倫多市長重申不會辭職

身陷吸毒醜聞風暴的加拿大多倫多市長福特(Rob Ford)2日重申，他不會辭職下台。

在多倫多警方宣布，緝毒起獲的硬碟影片中有疑似市長福特吸食古柯鹼「快克」的影像後，要求福特辭職下台的壓力越來越升高。

不過，福特2日在辦公室外，仍然面帶微笑的表示，如先前所說，他不會辭職。

多倫多貿易局(The Toronto Board of Trade)已經呼籲福特以市民做為最優先考量，暫時請假，靜待調查；而多倫多四大報也都公開呼籲福特辭職。

多倫多副市長、同時也是福特的盟友凱利(Norm Kelly)表示，他將在2日會見福特，轉達市議會對此事的關切。凱利說，他希望福特能做出正確的決定。
