曾文水庫歡度四十歲 老員工與千民同慶

曾經是東南亞最大水庫的曾文水庫，歡慶啟用四十周年，環湖路跑、兒童寫生、園遊會等多項慶祝活動，今天在水庫周邊登場，數千名民眾齊聚，為曾文水庫慶生。

經濟部長張家祝表示，曾文水庫營運四十年來，不管是農業灌溉、民生用水、或是防洪發電，已經和南台灣的民生經濟密不可分。今天慶祝活動中，還特別邀請曾文水庫退休員工回娘家，典禮中並播放一支串連曾文水庫四十年足跡的紀錄片，讓老員工們感動不已。

南區水資源局指出，曾文水庫「老照片‧心故事」影像徵文活動正在進行中，歡迎民眾踴躍投稿，未來為發揮水庫更多元豐富的教育功能，將以產官學合作模式，推廣企業節水和環境教育專案，並協助嘉義縣大埔鄉公所推動以曾文水庫為核心的「水漾旅遊帶」，讓水庫與地方發展共存共榮。
