虎尾民防隊員及替代役男獲頒感謝狀

虎尾警分局埒內派出所民防副小隊長王永同、替代役男詹定縢二人，日前在虎尾鎮光復路夜市擔服夜市交通疏導勤務時，忽有民眾跑來報案稱前方嘉南大圳有一名婦人掉落大水溝，請警方前往搭救，現場員警及替代役男詹定縢、王永同副小隊長立即趕往現場協助搭救，王副小隊長在附近找到竹竿，先讓葉女拉住竹竿確保安全，並由現場員警通知消防隊到場協助救援，最後落水的葉姓婦女在警消及民力通力合作之下救起，並送往若瑟醫院救治。

虎尾警分局長林文福對民防副小隊長王永同、替代役男詹定縢，在緊急時能活用各項學習之技能救人一命，實為表率，昨日在該分局舉辦聯合勤教上公開表揚，並致贈感謝狀，表揚該二人的救人義舉。

林文福分局長，對王永同平時參與維護地方治安之工作表現，給予肯定與嘉勉，因警力有限，民力無窮，唯有地方熱心人士的主動參與，才能使治安更加良好，也在期許大家一齊來為社會盡一份心力。
