4G總標金飆破700億元，行政院政務委員張善政表示：「坦白講，過熱了」，不過，他尊重市場機制，不會介入。

張善政認為，持續競標而不停手的業者心裡一定有底，已經計算過收費模式才會跟著追價。業者未來應該要開發多元化的收費模式和加值服務，讓使用量高、要求多的用戶付出相對高的價格，不能平均分攤的轉嫁到每個消費者身上。

張善政表示，4G標金顯示新業者搶攻營運空間的決心，4G是新時代來臨的轉捩點，他期盼新業者能在營運和收費模式上創意多一點，舊業者也要想方法因應。

張善政曾表示，他心目中的合理4G頻譜拍賣金額，以不超過底價50%為主。
