未依號誌行駛 竹北車禍4死

（中央社記者林瑞益新竹9日電）新竹縣竹北市今天凌晨兩輛轎車發生車禍，造成4人傷重不治，警方初步研判，應是其中一方未依號誌行駛釀災。

新竹縣政府警察局竹北分局車禍處理小組今天說，近凌晨3時發生車禍，一輛白色轎車從中華路南下，疑似違規左轉中和街，遭對向北上的銀色轎車攔腰撞上，因撞擊力道強大，白色轎車被撞推約20公尺至路旁工廠柵欄才卡住停下。

警消到場將4名傷者送醫，傷者送醫時均已無呼吸、心跳，傷重不治。警方初步研判，現場有一方未依號誌行駛，所以造成車禍，現場的紅綠燈標誌是雙時向號誌，左轉車輛應依照左轉方向的燈號行駛。

警方說，目前仍處於調查階段，兩輛車的駕駛都沒有喝酒，研判車速都快，其中一方又未依照號誌行駛，所以導致這場車禍；凌晨本以為殃及路人，但此人是因白色車輛撞擊而從白色車輛彈出。

警方已著手調查此車禍案件，下午報請檢察官相驗。1020909
