土地1/2所有權被拍賣掉了

想請問一下
日前公公與其兄長共有之土地
兄長的1/2土地所有權被拍賣 賣掉了...
而現在土地上仍有古厝在
我們若不同意
對方有權力拆掉房子嗎
或若他們強行私自拆除..
我們能怎做呢
還有若對方要分割土地又該如何
土地為L型耶
ps--
公婆並未住在那兒...
不過那位阿伯好像還賴在那裡
