NBA開始進入另一個球員交易周期，洛杉磯湖人今天裁掉前鋒威廉斯(Shawn Williams)，芝加哥公牛也趕在台北時間今天凌晨六點前把剛從騎士交易來的中鋒拜能(Andrew Bynum)裁掉，為的都是省錢、出清薪資空間。

拜能剛在騎士、公牛交易中被送到公牛，但公牛的目的是重建，並不是要拜能打中鋒，而且拜能今年合約在今天凌晨六點以後，就會轉為全保障，因此公牛裁掉拜能，可以省下約1500萬美元薪資負擔，把團隊薪資控制到必須繳納豪華稅以下。

威廉斯是湖人主力球員之一，本季出賽32場，11次先發，場均可以貢獻5.2分、4.5籃板，雖然內線作用不大，但威廉斯在短兵缺將的湖人陣中，由於三分外線尚有侵略性，一直得到湖人教練丹東尼(Mike D'Antoni)重用。

湖人決定裁掉威廉斯的原因也是省錢，因為今天凌晨六點過後，他的非保障約就會成為全保障，湖人陣中包括馬歇爾(Kendall Marshall)、亨利(Xavier Henry)、凱利(Ryan Kelly) 的合約都跟威廉斯一樣。

由於湖人曾經參與拜能交易談判，因此公牛在裁掉拜能之後，湖人會不會再引進拜能，值得觀察。
