【施旖婕╱綜合外電報導】美國東北部和中西部目前正遭受暴風雪的侵襲，並帶來世紀低溫，部份地區甚至出現零下30~40度的低溫，而從美國太空總署(NASA)拍攝的衛星照片，整個北美都被白色覆蓋，宛如被冰封。

據英國雅虎新聞報導指出，這場暴風雪和嚴寒低溫已經造成15人死亡，近2000航班停飛，部份地區積雪高達30公分厚。
