臉書傳考慮在南韓建立亞洲數據中心

【賴宇萍╱綜合外電報導】facebook（臉書）在全球擁有11.9億用戶，在北美用戶出現下滑之際，快速成長的亞洲市場成為該公司關注的最新焦點。為進一步服務用戶，並擴大影響力，facebook傳有意在亞洲建立數據中心，去年12月初，已有高層赴南韓評估可能地點，其中包括釜山等城市在內。

據科技網站VentureBeat報導，facebook對於激增的亞洲用戶，顯然必須做出積極回應，以確保用戶回頭率，因此在亞洲興建數據中心自然有其必要。

截至去年9月底，facebook的亞洲每月活躍用戶數量約為3.51億，較前年同期大增27%。
