2013黑豹旗全國青棒錦標賽，16強複賽由桃園農工對上西苑高中，結果桃農逆轉成功，最後以7:6獲勝。

桃農兩位高一生都在這場比賽表現出色，況且他們都來自台東泰源，同樣也是好隊友。

林忠中繼3局，才被打2支安打，失1分，自己是投到手指頭繭都破了才下場。

他說：「應該是自己太想用力，所以才破掉。」

由於直球需要扣，林忠的手除了有瘀血，還有厚厚的繭。
