劇情簡介:
埃及王子泰咪諾被巨蛇追趕而為夜女王的宮女所救，夜女王拿出女兒帕米娜的肖像給王子看，王子一見傾心，心中燃起了愛情的火焰，夜女王告訴王子，她女兒被壞人薩拉斯特羅搶走了，希望王子去救她，並允諾只要王子救回帕米娜，就將女兒嫁給他。王子同意了，夜女王贈給王子一支能解脫困境的魔笛，隨後王子就起程了。事實上，薩拉斯特羅是智慧的主宰，「光明之國」的領袖，夜女王的丈夫日帝死前把法力無邊的太陽寶鏡交給了他，又把女兒帕米娜交給他來教導，因此夜女王十分不滿，企圖摧毀光明神殿，奪回女兒。王子泰咪諾經受了種種考驗，識破了夜女王的陰謀，終於和帕米娜結為夫妻。
