中央銀行26日召開第4季理監事聯席會議，如外界預料，重貼現率、擔保放款融通利率及短期融通利率分別維持年息1.875%、2.25%及4.125%不變，這也是央行自2011年9月理監事會迄今，連十季維持利率不變。

此外，央行也宣布，考量明年國內經濟溫和復甦，通貨膨脹壓力不大下，明年M2貨幣成長目標區維持2.5%~6.5%的現行區間不變。

至於匯率部分，受到歐元區降息、日本宣布繼續量化寬鬆，加上近日美國聯準會決議溫和縮減量化寬鬆(QE)規模影響，國際美元走強，新台幣回貶，25日收盤價30.047元、較去年底貶值3.03%。不過，央行強調，新台幣匯率維持動態穩定，有利出口，而且自今年7月以來，新台幣實質有效匯率指數持續低於韓元，台灣出口價格競爭力優於南韓。
