六大科技公司要國會節制NSA

六家美國大型科技公司：Google、蘋果、微軟、臉書、雅虎、AOL，周四聯名致函美國國會參院司法委員會，要求國會立法節制NSA的監控行為，增加監控作法的透明度，以及加強保護隱私。信中說，「NSA的監控在國內外引起重大關切，而且近日有媒體錯誤報導說我們容許情報單位直接進入我們公司的伺服器，說我們參與NSA的網路資料收集方案，增加透明度有助糾正這些報導」。數日前，華盛頓郵報報導，NSA的手已伸入雅虎與Google設在全球各地的資料中心，隨心所欲收集無數用戶的個資。信中支持國會議員提出的〈美國自由法案〉，法案目標是終止NSA大量收集電話通聯，和加強保護隱私。
