隨著智慧型手機普及，網路和生活的關聯也更密切，現在出國旅遊，不見得需要打電話，但能上網倒是會方便許多。也因此越來越多人出國寧願申請數據漫遊服務。不過，除了向電信業者申辦之外，其實也有另類的上網選擇，有可能速度更快又更便宜。
「Wi-Ho!」是一種行動上網分享器，體積不大，可以隨身帶著走。它其實就像手機一樣，裡面裝著一張SIM卡和電池，不過不能打電話，就只提供Wi-Fi無線基地台的功能，讓其他的設備透過它上網。
▲ 業者會提供一個小包包，內含使用說明書、「Wi-Ho!」本體及充電器（攝影／記者甘偉中）使用方式非常簡單，機器背面貼有Wi-Fi連線名稱及密碼，只要開機就可以使用，不過記得要在國外當地才能上網，在國內測是沒用的。
「Wi-Ho!」業者已和世界各國的電信公司談好合作，使用「Wi-Ho!」不會像數據漫遊那麼貴，而且視前往的國家及「Wi-Ho!」型號，還有可能享受到4G的速度。
以前往日本為例，最便宜的資費是一天199元吃到飽，可提供10台設備同時上網，最高下載速度42Mbps／
上傳速度5.7Mbps，電持續航力4小時，想要持續開機一整天必須搭配行動電源。
