OPCW：收到敘利亞全部化武訊息

聯合國支持的化武監督團體「禁止化學武器組織」(OPCW)今天(21日)在他們的網站發布聲明說，敘利亞已經在最後期限的今天，交出所有敘利亞化學武器的訊息。

這項舉動是重要的一步，應可導向這些化武的摧毀。一般相信，敘利亞擁有大約1千噸的有毒物質，而敘利亞也已經同意，在美國和俄羅斯的聯合提議之下，將這些化武予以摧毀，以避免美國對敘利亞的攻擊。

聲明中說，禁止化學武器組織的技術秘書處(Technical Secretariat)正在檢查他們收到的這些訊息。

美俄上星期達成協議，約略訂定21日為敘利亞交出所有武器清單的最後期限，並且要在9個月內銷毀化武。
