雲林古坑再發現死鼬獾狂犬病威脅仍在

截至五號為止，雲林縣古坑鄉累計有五例鼬獾狂犬病確定病例。昨天又有民眾在古坑鄉桂林村雲林縣教育農場旁的產業道路旁發現一隻死鼬獾，已由雲林縣動植物防疫所採樣送驗。山區狂犬病威脅仍在，防疫所人員籲請民眾不要掉以輕心。

雲林縣古坑鄉公所農經處孫旺田處長指出，古坑鄉公所送出的一活九死共十隻鼬獾，經檢驗後，包括上個月一隻遭家犬咬死的鼬獾在內，目前確定感染狂犬病的鼬獾病例共有五例。昨天被發現的死鼬獾，根據目擊民眾表示，死亡前曾有不斷抽搐現象，疑似也是感染狂犬病死亡，但仍有待進一步檢驗後確認。
