（中央社台北6日電）據傳蘋果現正在測試多種搭載加大螢幕的次世代iPhone，螢幕尺寸最大達到6吋，不過，這些裝置在蘋果下週舉辦的媒體活動將不會亮相。

據華爾街日報（WSJ）記者謝爾（Ian Sherr）表示，消息來源透露，蘋果（Apple）正在測試採用大隻佬螢幕的智慧手機，同樣也稱為「手機平板」（phablets），螢幕尺寸介在4.8至6吋之間，與對手三星電子公司（Samsung Electronics Co.）的產品雷同。

消息來源引述蘋果內部的討論顯示，蘋果對於推出大螢幕iPhone手機平板抱持愈來愈開放的態度。蘋果去年才將iPhone的螢幕升級至4吋，是iPhone於2007年首度問世以來，蘋果首度改變螢幕尺寸。

零件供應商表示，蘋果近來在經過測試後，對4.8吋螢幕特別感興趣。

華爾街日報7月時也曾經報導，iPhone與iPad將同步長大，其中iPad的螢幕將加大至13吋。

蘋果4月舉行季度法說會時，執行長庫克（TimCook ）就被問到蘋果推出iPhone手機平板的可能性。

庫克當時表示，推出大螢幕產品總是需要一些「妥協」（trade-offs），其中包括電池壽命、色彩品質、螢幕壽命、還有其他東西。除非蘋果能夠就這些「妥協」找到解決方案，也許就會推出大螢幕產品。

庫克不願置評蘋果是否正在測試大螢幕iPhone，但外界揣測蘋果至少對這個點子多少有些興趣。（譯者：中央社趙蔚蘭）1020906
