滑輪溜冰奪冠 廖彥勝為台爭光

2013年卡利第9屆世界運動會滑輪男子溜冰1萬公尺計點賽金牌選手廖彥勝，是台灣在競速輪滑溜冰項目中，唯一在國際間循環比賽的職業隊選手。縣長吳志揚4日接見，希望他未來能有更好表現，替桃園爭光。

廖彥勝國中時興趣是音樂，被老師指定為小號首席，還曾奪得縣賽冠軍；不過高中時更讓他著迷的是輪滑溜冰，選擇中壢高中體育班以運動為第一志願。

廖彥勝曾在亞錦賽長距離項目包辦4面金牌及歐洲巡迴賽奪冠，這次在哥倫比亞世界運動會1萬公尺公路積分賽，奪下18個積分獲得金牌，技壓包括今年在比利時世錦賽獲得4面金牌的世界紀錄保持人Bart Swing之內的世界好手，並接受哥倫比亞總統Juan Manuel Santos Calderon授獎，實屬桃園之光。

吳志揚除頒發優勝獎座及獎勵金10萬元，也期許廖彥勝秉持一貫自動自發訓練，堅持奮戰到底毅力，再創個人佳績，更希望他將寶貴的信念傳承下去，讓滑輪溜冰運動發光發熱、永續發展。
