機場補辦護照 外交部：行之有年

副總統吳敦義外孫在機場補辦護照惹爭議，外交部桃機辦事處網站中，以紅字標明「不受理在台國人臨櫃申請護照、簽證及文件驗證」；許多曾經到機場才發現護照過期的民眾，都是悻悻然延後班機、取消行程，回去再以「特急件」補辦護照，並不知道機場就可當場補辦。

外交部領務局長陳經銓解釋，桃機辦事處位管制區，沒有設立出境櫃檯，當然不能「臨櫃」辦理；民眾若下班、周末時間撥打領務局總機，雖不能接通，但有語音提醒民眾，若有緊急申辦護照需求，可聯繫桃機辦事處補辦，「已經行之有年，並非因人設事」。
