新生命小組教會創辦人主任牧師顧其芸，並非一開始就是追隨潮流，造型新穎的牧師，如同一般牧師或是相同年紀的男子，白色背心、梳著旁分看你來就像一位普通大叔，如今，蛻變為時尚熟男，放下身段與年輕人共同尋求認同感。

顧其芸牧師說，「改變別人，不如改變自己！與其要求別人配合，不如我們配合別人。」因此，他放下包袱、傳統牧師形象，背負社會議論，毅然決然改變自己，為的是聽見年輕人的聲音！同時，也讓年輕人聽聽主耶穌的流行文化。
