船務員趕緊將纜繩套往海裡丟，大夥兒準備就緒後，前方這輛大船立刻發動引擎，終於將這艘閒置在高雄港長達13年「海上皇宮」，移泊旗津港。船務員：「來來來，拉、拉。」

海上皇宮絢麗仿古4層樓建築，在纜繩拉動下緩緩移動，仔細看，船身佈滿灰塵，就連一旁也出現嚴重鏽蝕，長期置放在高雄港，宛如「水上垃圾」。

海上皇宮負責人周義峰，斥資8億，花了8年時間打造這艘船餐廳，2000年5月，正式在高雄港開幕，2001年3月，因為海上皇宮傳出經營不善，積欠員工薪資，無預警倒閉，至今「海上皇宮業者」還積欠高雄港務公司1700萬停泊費用，無力償還。民眾：「有點可惜，它沒有經營很好，畢竟都放這邊10幾年了。」

民眾看到海上皇宮被拖走，感到惋惜，對照2000年，當時海上皇宮風光開幕，內部裝潢富麗堂皇，現在卻是殘破不堪，令人惋惜，如今移走海上皇宮，高雄港航道變得寬敞，讓港區呈現煥然一新，水岸風光，而9月19日黃色小鴨即將進駐高雄港，勢必將吸引更多人潮，促進高雄港觀光發展。
