南非金礦公司欲重整 將裁員1600人

南非第二大黃金開採公司─西班伊金礦(Sibanye Gold)15日表示，為了降低支出並提高生產力，計劃裁員1,600人以進行重整。

西班伊金礦說，為了擴大運作產能、並確保公司的永續性，將對整體企業進行審視。這項擬議中的重整計畫，可能有多達1,600人的工作受到影響。

這家在約翰尼斯堡證券交易所(Johannesburg Stock Exchange)掛牌的公司，是在今年初才成立。公司執行長富隆曼(Neal Froneman)說，將透過這項計畫，來降低支出和提高運作效率。

從今年初開始，為了爭取更高工資，發生數起未經工會同意的罷工抗爭之後，已有數家礦業公司威脅將進行裁員。
