外資上周對台股下重手調節12.02億美元，衝擊台股單周重挫3.01%，單周賣超金額與跌幅都居亞股之首，韓股調節幅度與跌勢相對較輕，上周流出3.2億美元，下跌2.22%。
東南亞股市部分，印尼上周因回教開齋節休市，印度則是亞股唯一逆勢吸金的股市，獲外資小幅加碼0.42億美元，泰國、菲律賓與越南均呈現賣超，分別遭賣2.69億、0.41億與0.02億美元。
摩根台灣金磚基金經理人葉鴻儒表示，因聯準會釋出可能在九月啟動減少購債的訊息，不僅歐美股市回檔，且加重近期外資賣壓台股的力道，自8/6以來連4天重手調節，近4日賣出台股超過362億元，也連動衝擊台股表現。
柏南克6月提出縮減QE規模以來，經濟數據始終好壞參半，導致市場臆測退場時程延後，但QE退場趨勢不會改變。葉鴻儒指出，市場其實已對QE退場有共識，QE退場也仍將奠基於美國景氣確實好轉的前提。觀察美股在QE減縮疑慮下走跌，但力守月季線上，多頭格局並未改變，仍有助國際股市後續發展。
葉鴻儒進一步指出，短線上，考量個股財報檢驗持續、日線技術指標修正壓力未除，個股短線劇烈波動、強弱分歧情勢將延續。不過，由於大盤日技術指標進入超賣區，後續有機會出現技術性反彈，操作上，避開業績或展望不佳股，擇具業績、題材股操作。
