4G行動寬頻執照競標，面試12日登場，國家通訊傳播委員會（NCC）審核小組分別與7家業者面談，應試的業者態度低調不願多做回應，親自帶隊的遠傳董事長徐旭東也只是簡短的表示，問題很難，不過有充足的準備，表現應該不錯。
NCC指出，面試題目包括營運規劃、新興服務、涵蓋率、服務品質、技術架構規劃、經營挑戰準備及財務等方向，自中午12時45分起開始進行，業者面談的順序則是台灣之星（頂新集團）、新纖旗下的新建、亞太電信、遠傳、台灣大、中華電、國碁電子（鴻海集團）。
NCC表示，預定15日前公布合格競標名單，26日讓業者進行模擬競標，9月3日舉行競價作業，12月底前完成整個釋照作業；這次共計要釋出700、900、1800MHz等3個頻段的270MHz頻寬，是自1996年推動電信自由化之後，單次釋出頻率資源規模最大的一次。
業者參加NCC的面試，態度低調，遠傳董事長徐旭東親自帶隊應試，會後也是低調的離開，面對媒體詢問只有簡短表示，問題很難，但是遠傳有充足的準備，表現應該不錯。
