澳洲1頭袋鼠用牠的體溫，救了1名7歲大、在森林裡迷路的小男孩。

現在正是澳洲的冬天，7歲大的「賽門」日前和父母在澳洲南端「弗魯瑞半島」一處森林保護區旅遊，午餐後，「賽門」想要摘花送給母親，他看到1頭小袋鼠，就跟著小袋鼠走進樹叢裡，不久就迷路了。賽門的爸媽在孩子失蹤後立即報警，搜救隊不斷搜尋，但無功而返。

24小時後，直升機才搜救到賽門。「賽門」獲救後說，他迷路後有一頭大袋鼠跳到他身邊，吃他手中的花，然後在他身邊躺下，用體溫讓「賽門」可以度過寒夜。

「賽門」的媽媽在他的外套上聞到袋鼠的味道，證實賽門沒有編故事，說的是實話。

澳洲袋鼠救人過去也有先例。2003年9月21號，1頭從小被人類飼養的袋鼠，在飼主被樹木砸昏、不省人事時，發出尖銳的叫聲，讓家人趕來救人。
