【時報記者江俞庭台北報導】德州儀器（TI）宣布推出業界最小、最高精度的鋰電池電量監測計積體電路，可延長如穿戴式健康監控設備等可攜式醫療設備、庫存掃描和可攜式緊急照明等工業設備，以及其它消費性電子產品的電池使用壽命。

德儀表示，採用9焊球晶片級封裝（WCSP）的bq27421系統側電量監測計，使用通過TI驗證、常用於平板電腦和智慧型手機的進階電池技術，準確顯示剩餘電池容量、充電狀態及電池電壓，將可攜式設備的電池使用壽命延長50%以上。

德儀電池管理事業群副總裁Steve Lambouses表示，可攜式醫療及其它電子產品使用者需要準確預測剩餘電池容量，決定何時充電、更換電池。無論是血糖機、穿戴式患者監控手環、還是可攜式庫存掃描器，使用者都需要準確的資訊才能做出正確判斷。
