國民黨台北市黨部10日表示，與賴素如團隊一起在端午節舉行關懷弱勢活動，是主委、青工會自發性義舉，與黨停權處分並無牴觸，活動主要目的為關懷弱勢，絕無濫用黨權的行為。

媒體報導，因捲入雙子星弊案遭到羈押的市議員賴素如，雖然被國民黨中央停權，但競選團隊在北投區的服務處，依舊舉辦發放端午粽子活動，而國民黨區黨部主委也以「個人身分」共同合辦。

這樣的做法引發黨內批評，認為區黨部這樣的做法，是間接在替賴素如背書，力挺她的清白。

國民黨市黨部晚間澄清，儘管賴素如因案雖遭收押，但基於「無罪推定」原則，賴在未經司法判決定讞之前仍具議員身分，地方服務工作也持續進行。

此外，其服務處人員舉辦端午節關懷弱勢市民活動，本黨職義務幹部區主委、青工會自發性共襄盛舉，實與本黨停權處分並無牴觸，更非享受黨權，而是具體關懷弱勢市民。
