嘉蘭活動中心 集會、慶典休閒兼避難所

在莫拉克風災中受創嚴重的台東縣嘉蘭村，災後三年多的重建，不僅已經將「永久屋基地」轉型成全新的社區，正在興建中的多功能活動中心，也加入傳統文化，同時結合防災避難的功能，讓活動中心可以發揮最佳的效益。

　座落在金峰鄉「嘉蘭一號基地」東側永久屋旁的「多功能活動中心」，預定今年十二月完工，「活動中心」除了可提供村民平時集會、慶典及休閒活動場所，在汛期期間，也將提供作為臨時安置所，提升部落的防災能力。

　台東縣政府表示，台東縣嘉蘭村的後續重建工作，將由行政院重建會協助在地組織培力人才，推動生態旅遊，營造嘉蘭村成為台東縣最漂亮並富有原住民特色的部落山城。
