中華職棒票房真的回春了，到25日為止，本季77戰觀眾人數59萬3993人次，超越去年240戰58萬3805人次，從這個數據就可以看出，中職半季還沒打完票房就大成長，只要各球團努力經營，球員不要再作一些不好的事情，台灣的職棒仍然大有可為。
25日在桃園進行的猿象戰，觀眾人數1萬2000人（外野未售票），滿場，這是本季第13場滿場，也是桃園球場的第2場滿場，在澄清湖球場進行的獅犀戰，觀眾人數8997人。
過去中職單季最多觀眾人數是1995年的164萬6361人（300場），但單場觀眾人數最多是1992年的6878人（180場），本季觀眾人數紀錄屢創佳績，破的就是1992年的紀錄，包括率先突破30萬人次、40萬人次以及50萬人次。
去年240戰的觀眾人數是58萬3805人次，平均每場2433人，本季只打77戰已經突破去年整季的觀眾人數，達59萬3993人次，季賽不到三分之一就破去年成績，真的很驚人。
中華職棒過去最快速60萬人次是1992年的79場，26日兩戰球迷若能捧場，將會繼續破紀錄。
