紐約洋基明星游擊手Derek Jeter仍在養傷準備復出，這段期間球隊必須為此找人填補空缺。如今最新人選Reid Brignac宣稱，他從小最大的偶像就是Jeter。

洋基19日決定將原本游擊手Alberto Gonzalez，放入指定讓渡名單。而Brignac就是替代的人選，他先前曾待過坦帕灣光芒和科羅拉多落磯。

Brignac在20日記者會表示：「Jeter對於美國小朋友來說，可能是最大的偶像之一。至少對我來說，他的確就是如此。能和他在同一支球隊效力，真的是莫大榮幸。」

Brignac曾擔任游擊手、二壘手、三壘手和外野手，如今洋基教練Joe Girardi認為，他能勝任球隊目前所需的游擊手角色。

Girardi說：「我認為他的守備很好，打擊上還能製造一些長打機會球，這點在我們的主場是有利的。」

大部分的貓咪不像狗狗一樣親人，但是網路上卻有一部影片，有名嬰兒與貓咪相處融洽，還將貓咪當成枕頭來使用，不管貓咪如何遭到「蹂躪」，皆不見配合度銳減，相當有耐心。

影片中的貓咪體型不算小，牠慵懶地躺在地板上，旁邊的嬰兒則是精神抖擻地與其互動，嬰兒將貓咪當做枕頭來使用，把頭擺在貓咪身上一下子，隨後又開心地挺起身子撫摸貓咪。

過了一會兒，嬰兒再爬過貓咪的身體，這下子是把頭擺在貓咪的臀部上，嬰兒就這樣來來回回地在貓咪身上爬上爬下，左揉右推，即使出現雙手「桿」動貓咪身體的舉動，貓咪都沒有動怒，讓人不禁想豎起大拇指稱讚牠的好脾氣啊。
