葡萄牙內閣要員相繼請辭，政府恐面臨崩解危機，引發全球市場對歐債情勢再陷動盪的恐懼；但美國投資人表現韌性，平盤整理後股市轉而強攻，終場收紅。
美國股市
道瓊工業平均指數收高56.14點或0.38%至14988.55。
Nasdaq指數收高10.27點或0.30%至3443.67。
S&P 500指數收高1.33點或0.08%至1615.41。
費城半導體指數收高1.62點或0.35%至469.80。

| 難怪三星要降價！Xperia A日本熱銷84萬支 達S4的2倍

 日經新聞、每日新聞4日報導，日本電信業龍頭NTT DoCoMo社長加藤薰接受訪談時表示，因該公司祭出的「two top(強力促銷Sony Xperia A及三星電子Galaxy S4)」智慧手機促銷措施奏功，帶動列為促銷對象的產品銷售強勁。加藤薰表示，截至6月底為止Xperia A(國際版型號為Xperia ZR；見附圖)銷售量已達83萬支(開賣45天的銷售量)，銷售速度創DoCoMo史上之最；S4的銷售量也達到40萬支(開賣39天)的水準。
加藤薰表示，Xperia A及S4的銷售目標各自訂為100萬支，惟照此種銷售氣勢來看，銷售量或許可衝上150萬支的水準。
S4及Xperia A都是DoCoMo大力促銷的機種，雖然S4日本售價較Xperia A貴出約1萬日圓(Xperia A售價為5,000日圓、S4為1.5萬日圓)，但其銷售量目前卻僅有Xperia A的一半水準，也難怪三星要自己砸大錢大砍S4日本售價。
日經新聞3日報導，為了對抗Xperia A，三星已將供應給DoCoMo的S4實質售價調降了約2萬日圓，且該降價措施雖預計實施至7月底為止，但有可能將延長實施。日經指出，一般來說，皆是由電信業者提供促銷費用給零售店面來壓低產品售價，故由手機廠主導(手機廠自己砸錢)來降低產品價格實屬罕見。
