| 杰樑病逝／3代皆仁醫！林杰樑辭世 鄰居不捨

嘉義縣長：「你就自己要保重。」林杰樑母親：「好，多謝你。」
縣長來探望，林杰樑86歲的老母親忍不住低聲啜泣，就連老鄰居也跟著紅了眼眶。
鄰居：「3代都醫生，也有草藥，大家都很厲害，做善事做很多，人家如果來看，說拿藥什麼的都沒拿錢，他阿公跟阿樑過世，大家都掉淚、捨不得。」
沒錯，林家六腳鄉的老房子裡，依然可以看到寫滿了藥材名稱的藥櫃，原來林杰樑的爸爸及阿公都是中醫師，經營中藥店，與第3代林杰樑醫師，都是地方上聞名的熱心仁醫。
房子雖然破舊，但門口有貼心的候診椅，一旁的窗戶也成了24小時不打烊的求診按鈴。鄰居：「如果有人來，這窗戶這樣拍、這樣喊。」
由於戀家的林杰樑堅持要返回嘉義朴子長眠，讓縣長很感動，直呼他是台灣的良心，希望能把林醫師生平事蹟集結成冊之外，還建議把中藥店整建為文物館。
嘉義縣長張花冠：「把所有他的手稿、他用過的東西，希望放在文物館讓大家紀念以外，怎樣延續。」
縣長說，將擇日北上與林醫師遺孀研商，讓俠醫精神永流傳之外，也能為食品安全盡心盡力。
