| 七星潭傳男子投海 警消搜救中

【李光濱／花蓮報導】花蓮縣消防局勤務中心今凌晨3時許獲報，1名男子疑心情不佳在七星潭海域跳海自殺，警消獲報後出動搜救人員前往救援，據1名韓姓目擊者表示，男子已落水下落不明，因海邊風浪強大，搜救人員截至目前為止尚未尋獲落水者。

| 水公司到府服務 偏鄉水戶感貼心

宜蘭縣大同鄉松羅、四季、南山等偏鄉地區部分用水戶，因交通問題或不方便出門繳水費，常逾期繳納而產生滯納金，或因嚴重欠費而被拆表停水，造成極大的困擾。自來水公司為解決此問題，派員主動出擊，採取到府服務的便民新措施，讓家住偏遠地區的弱勢用水戶，感到很窩心。
自來水公司第八區管理處服務品質再度向上提昇，主動出擊關懷偏鄉弱勢用水戶，配合執行停水貼單通知作業，由服務人員到府受理水費自動扣繳及電子帳單申請，並致贈精美紀念品，減少弱勢民眾繳費困擾，同時也促成帳單無紙化環保愛地球，獲得偏鄉居民的好評與支持。其中黃姓和楊姓鄉民，就很感謝水公司人員的貼心服務，為他們省下不少麻煩。
自來水公司第八區管理處提醒民眾，逾期繳水費將產生滯納金，而欠費兩期會電話通知用戶，並於用水處所張貼告示期限完成繳納，若仍未繳納者，將會辦理拆表停水，若要再辦理復水又得另外支付一筆費用。所以請民眾隨時注意繳費訊息，可以辦理水費自動扣繳及電子帳單，環保又可省荷包。
