| 電腦產業陷衰退 需強調台灣特色

台灣整體電腦產業近年開始走下坡，除了與國際景氣下滑有關，眾多智慧裝置出現也逐漸取代筆電市場。產業分析師認為，台灣各供應鏈有很強的業者，提供優良的產品外需，導致整體產品沒有差異性；若國內能垂直整合，創造自己的產品特色，並連結上中下游端銷售，有助產業轉變。
全球電腦產業近幾年呈現衰退，台灣業者銷售狀況也跟著走下坡，國內電腦品牌大廠宏碁(Acer)2013年第3季衰退超過新台幣百億元，足見台灣產業陷入嚴峻挑戰。
產業分析師指出，台灣電腦產業各產品的供應鏈其實都有很好的業者，產品線完整，但過去個人電腦競爭模式，與新興的智慧行動裝置很不相同，技術上短時間還無法移轉，造成近期銷售表現不是這麼好。此外，台灣提供物美價廉的零組件給國外客戶，使得各產品差異化縮小，讓台灣產品變得不具有特色，資策會產業情報研究所資深產業顧問周士雄說：『(原音)台灣的產業是水平分工，我們在每個環節都有非常優秀的業者，可是這些業者都提供最好的東西給所有外在的品牌或客人，導致台灣的自己的產業這端沒辦法塑造差異性。』
分析師建議，台灣業者應開拓自己品牌專屬的特色，在產品硬體規格相同時，以差異化軟體內容取勝；或願意與其他業者進行垂直整合，客製硬體產品；再者加強銷售通路，拓點其他國家。
