| 美聯準會首位女主席 葉倫得票新低

美國下一任的聯邦準備理事會主席，也就是中央銀行總裁的人選，美東時間六號終於確定。現任的副主席葉倫以破紀錄的低得票率，由民主黨佔多數的參議院通過任命，成為聯準會百年歷史以來，第一位女性主席。 ==美國參議院輪值主席== 贊成的56票，反對的26票，(葉倫的)提名獲得確認。 比起柏納基在2010年第二任70比30的通過票數，葉倫任命案的差距更小，得票率更低，顯示在兩大黨之間，對於葉倫做為幕後推手的量化寬鬆政策QE，立場有相當大的差距。 共和黨認為，QE四年來放出超過40兆美元的資金，無異是未來通膨的火種。
==共和黨籍參議員 葛拉斯雷== 葉倫女士將持續這種錯誤政策，我無法支持她接掌(聯準會)。 事實上，葉倫在2月初正式走馬上任後，最重要的工作之一，就是衡量就業市場與物價等各種經濟指標，決定QE退場的速度與時機。 ==奧瑞岡大學助教授 馬克托瑪== 在對的時機以正確的幅度退場，要做的就是這些事情。後世將對她(葉倫)做出評價，看她如何操作QE退場，以及一旦升息，她要如何應對，如何引導利率走向。 雖然美國去年11月的失業率，降到大約百分之7，是五年來新低記錄，去年第三季成長率也是兩年來新高，但路透社的分析認為，只要失業率還在百分之6.5以上，以及通膨率維持在可接受範圍內，葉倫主導的聯準會不會輕易調整利率。
