埃及新憲公投日敲定：1月14、15日

埃及政府今天(14日)表示，將在明年1月14、15日就新憲法草案舉行公投，毋寧是往民選制度邁進一步；埃及自從前總統穆希(Mohammed Morsi)遭罷黜後，國內便衝突不斷、族群分裂嚴重。

埃及臨時總統曼蘇爾(Adly Mansour)在全國演說中表示，「我在此呼籲大家參與新憲法草案的公投，時間就是在1月14及15日」；伴隨在曼蘇爾身旁的是高層官員及起草新憲的成員。

這項新憲法是埃及臨時政府規劃的政治轉型計畫中重要里程碑。新憲法草案中廢除了有關伊斯蘭化的條文；這項條文於埃及前總統穆希(Mohammed Morsi)任內寫入憲法，並於去年獲得公民投票通過。

穆希是埃及首位民選總統，但於今年7月3日遭到軍方推翻，目前的臨時政府是由軍方扶植成立。

根據埃及制憲會議上週完成的新憲法草案，原本已經掌握大權的埃及軍方將取得更多權力。
